Yesterday, the most pleasant surprise occurred. My decade long youth soccer coach Chaz Seale (who lives out of state and I havent seen in decades) was in the area and asked if he could drop by and see me. Chaz taught me the value and joy of being on an effective team. He along with my college political mentor John Kinkade (along my mom and dads influence) changed my entire life. I was thankful for them then, although Im sure I did not convey my appreciation adequately. I remain grateful to them to this moment. The gift Chaz gave me yesterday is the reminder to reach out to those who have made a positive impact in my life. Thank you Chaz, John, Marshall and Jan. Who has helped you on your lifes path?
