Yesterday, the protesters who were rioting in Ferguson appeared to calm down for Thanksgiving day. However, on Wednesday morning, there was a report of rioters doing the unthinkable to an elderly white man. KMOV-TV was on the scene after an elderly white man had his car stolen by two rioters in the parking lot of Faraci Pizza. Witnesses said the man, who carries an oxygen tank, had two men attack him as he returned to his vehicle to replace the nearly empty oxygen tank. As they drove away, the man held onto the steering wheel and was run over after losing his grip. Video shows the man lying face down in the street with the oxygen tank lying next to him. “You need to take us live. Some gentlemen was in his car, he was on oxygen, they stole his car, left him on the ground. We’re standing here where he is,” KMOV reporter Robin Smith said. Jaye Perry was at the scene when the carjacking occurred and she said she had been speaking with the man just before he was robbed. She told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that the man had said to her, “Only in America do you see stuff like this,” just before he walked back to his car to replace the depleted oxygen tank. An ambulance eventually arrived on the scene to take the man to the hospital. Perry said his injuries didn’t appear to be too serious, however, not much else is known about his condition.
