Yesterday there was a huge storm in Syria and extreme winds and rain destroyed a camp that had been set up for widows and orphans. Their shelters and all of their worldly possessions - as few as they are - were ruined in the storm. This is an appeal from the people behind this camp, Tauqir Tox Sharif and his wife Racquell Hayden-Best. Even on a charitable level, its often hard for us to know what to do in regards to helping those in Syria. People are scared to physically go and help themselves but they are also scared to donate money to charitable initiatives, not being sure if the money will actually get to where it is needed most.
