Yesterday was World Suicide Prevention Day and I am sad that I - TopicsExpress

Yesterday was World Suicide Prevention Day and I am sad that I didnt see anything posted about it. So heres a number and other stuff since its still National Suicide Prevention Week: Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255 Signs: https://afsp.org/preventing-suicide/warning-signs-and-risk-factors (The kids and teens section of this is equally important) That is there for anyone who knows someone else is dealing with suicidal thoughts or is dealing with it themselves. The Suicide Prevention Lifeline is full of trained counselors. There really shouldnt be a stigma on this. I think it is largely unacceptable that such a stigma even exists. Someone, a human being, that has died via suicide or is considering suicide shouldnt be condemned or treated drastically differently because of it. Heres something else: It can be preventable, there are warning signs before it happens, so pay attention to them and dont be scared to open your mouth about it. I have seen friends of mine, the signs, and decided to stay quiet because I thought it wouldnt have helped. But I dont get to see those friends faces anymore. And every single day I get emotional because I wish I would have said anything at all.
