Yesterday was a day of puppies, cake and crates..... a perfect day! This is Cobi a male,14 week old Pug X Jack Russell. I was called over as he can get very hyper and mouths, bite and snaps at people faces. This was a typical case of miscommunication between humans and canine and ultimately the puppy became stressed and hyper as they tried to love him in a human way and he felt uncomfortable with certain things, then he inadvertently learned how to get attention albeit negative attention... A few subtle changes in communication, some simple boundaries and he started to choose self control and stopped mouthing. He is sooo bright and a quick learner, he will need lots of consistency.
