Yesterday was a difficult day after the passing of my Dad, but I cannot express to all of you my appreciation for the comforting words offered here by family, friends, and people I only know through facebook. I now know that the loss of a parent is a common human experience that can bind and connect friends from long ago and even total strangers. The fact that so many of you took a moment out of your day to post thoughts, well wishes, prayers and comfort moves me beyond words. Thanks too to those friends who have called, visited, cried with me and held me up during this difficult time. I am blessed to be surrounded by my wonderful son home visiting from college, my always supportive husband Jeff and my sweet, strong daughter all standing strong and together during this tough time. I could not ask for more in life, and I do not take it for granted! Thank you all so much!
