Yesterday was a fabulous Tapas party at my place with a mostly vegan lineup including a cashew goat cheese, teriyaki tofu wraps w/ champagne jelly and sirachi sauce, cashew pesto, curried split pea humus, almond sunflower nori wraps, roasted pepper collage, tapenade stuffed mini baby bell peppers and more. Dessert was shooters of cashew creme parfait with local strawberry puree, fresh raspberries and raw chocolate shavings as well as mini Sunwarrior cacao power brownies. Paired with Spanish bubbly as well as a full bodied jammie red wine we dined in style. My company was wonderful. Wondering about the non vegan component? Chorizo from Ottawas Piggy Market where the food is locally sourced and integrity raised. If you want animal products know your supplier. Great to know where all your food comes from actually. Dont you agree?
