Yesterday was a first for me. I was totally taken by surprise, I honestly had no idea I would win, which is why I didnt really dress up for the occasion, but when my name was called out, I was stunned. When I got on the stage, something very unusual happened; I was lost for words haha. Id like to thank everyone who voted for me, everyone who has congratulated me and all the bars that employ me as well as the fabulous customers who come back year after year, its an honour to have won. Thank you so much. Id also like to congratulate all the other artists who won or were nominated, The Tenerife Entertainment Awards team and everyone else who played a part in todays proceedings. Id especially like to thank my brother from another mother, Michael Leavy, he knows why. Now Im gonna sit myself in front of the telly with a nice glass of Moët & Chandon.
