Yesterday was a good day. The day came and went, but the evening... The evening was a perfect ending to our day. Uncle Eric came by with brother lewis? Loft? L something? Anyway, they brought us a lesson of faith. President monson having a church calling and navel job at the same time. He sought advice from his bishop; his bishop said to ask for discharge, and deny that job in the navy. His heat broken but he faithfully did so. His request was honored. We may not know why heavenly Father asks of these things but we do it. In the end president monson had the greatest calling of all. My kids and I got into the lesson, even watched a movie called the best two years you could tell my step sons were quite engaged. Laughing here and there. I hope it answered and opened more questions of our church. My partner was interested in reading the book of Mormon. Maybe thats our challenge... To read together. :) I requested more books so that we can start reading as a family. :) baby steps are happening. Im no saint but I try. Im not about to convert anyone, just share my faith now and again. We all struggle. I hope my Marcus Reeder still holds true to going on a mission. He was also into the movie. It was a very good lesson.
