Yesterday was a great day, loved being out at the Low Low Car Show with Ice Lounge and seeing all the beautiful Latinos celebrating a culture that I adore and my Father and Mother placed such pride for in my life, but I would have to say my highlight of the entire day, was a young girl, no older than 10 years old, asking her Mom if she could take a picture with me. She reminded me of me, skinny, dark brown skin, long black hair, soft spoken little girl. I remembered looking at my Dads Low Rider Magazines and admiring the Pachucas so much... with their head held high and all that pride and love for Family, their Brown Beautiful Skin, their Community. I am so grateful my parents instilled such a love for all of these same things in mine. I love you Mom and Dad!!! I pray I pass this to my Sons and Niece
