Yesterday was a little bit of a sad day. My old Guard Unit, 201st Red Horse from the PA Air Guard, left for their training for Southwest Asia, about 120 troops. This their 4th deployment since 2001. There are a few of the older ones left that I knew and went on summer camps with. There were a lot of young Airmen and Airwomen. The unit is a well known unit. When I was there we went and did a couple of high profile projects. There were 20 of us who had a PRESIDENTIAL ORDER, to go down to Dover AFB DE, to enlarge the morgue, in 2000. It was a rainy day yesterday, so you had a hard time to see who was crying. Asking to keep these Airmen and Airwomen in your thought and prayers. They will be returning in about December.
