Yesterday was a real mystery. He did not turn up for point one. For some reason he wasnt up for a wimbledon quarter final. No fight no typical murrayness. As a massive Murray fan I worry for him going forward into future GSs. He wont get the cushion of being bumped up to a top 4 seed at the US so he will need to be a lucky man to get a favourable draw. Odds are that he will have to beat 2 or 3 of the other big 3 in a row which on current form seems highly unlikely. He needs to go away and improve the mental side of his game, keep the aggressive tennis up and perform better in the atp tour events leading up to the US open as at the moment I cant see him winning another slam and his odds are deteriorating. Lets hope this was just 1 bad day as I am gutted. He had the game to win against a very beatable opponent. Come on Murray!
