Yesterday was a very busy and full day! After we crossed the Sea of Galilee, we saw a 2000 year old boat that was probably similar to what Peter and other fisherman used in Jesus day. Then we went to where Jesus delivered His longest sermon recorded. Do I love my enemies? Do I love my neighbor like myself? Do I forgive? Then onto Caesarea Philippi. Many people knew of Jesus power, but Peter was the first to declare, You are the Christ, the Son of the Living God. Do I fully believe and declare this? Then there was lunch at a restaurant with a name I cannot pronounce or even write! Next up was Capernaum, where Jesus lived and poured His life into ordinary people like you and me for 2 years. Do I pour my life into others? Finally, we went to the spot where the resurrected Jesus met Peter and told Him He still loved Peter despite denying Him 3 times. He still wanted Peter to do His work. He restored Peter. Am I not doing a work Jesus has for me because I feel guilty over something in my past? Jesus ability to forgive is greater than our worst sins. Be restored today.
