Yesterday was a very emotional day for me: another first without Ruben, and first day of high school for Yazmin. Would she fit in, would she cope without her Dad, would his loss have an impact on whats supposed to be a special, happy day in her life. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of having breakfast with a friend and her friend, who recently lost her dad and it was her first day back to work, and yesterday Yazmin was placed in 3 classes with a friend who recently lost her Mom. Some may think this is coincidence but Im a firm believer that God places people in our lives for a reason,either to lift them up when they need it most, or to let us know its ok, I feel your pain and were in this together. Whatever the reason, God is good and has a plan for us.
