Yesterday was amazing and im back on the ground for what will be historic and beautiful. I havent lived in my old stomping grounds NYC in some years, but it is my second home. I put a call out for designers and all kinds of needs for our video yesterday. I have to send a very special shout out to designer Ashaka Givens who came through..not by just completely styling the entire shoot (which she did) but also holding me down the entire day..from holding down equipment locations or just holding my arm so i didnt bust my already sprung ankle walking through cobble stone in DUMBO. Love you sis and appreciate you so much. I cant wait for us to rock out together for Black Women Rock You have always been one of my favorite designers...1995 friggin love to you...always...and greater things to come.
