Yesterday was emotional here. Our hospital started Beads of Courage so we were all in the sun room stringing accomplishment beads. When we were done, the moms lingered and we chatted for a while. One of the girls hasnt been able to get out of bed since she got here because of the pain caused by her cancerous tumors. Yesterday, she had her 1st physical therapy session. She got out of bed and walked down the hall!! She needed a walker, she had spotters all around her, but she did it! Her mom started to cry and all of the moms got teary eyed and group hugged her. This is a place you NEVER want to be, but its amazing when you know these people are here to support and cheer for you!
