Yesterday was eventful in varying ways. We cooked breakfast at home and got ready for church. There we were blessed with a meaningful sermon and music. After church, we left to have lunch with a family we have learned to love in LaGrange. About two-thirds of the way down, I began the first nose bleed in my 70 years. It bled profusely for about 30 minutes. The friend in LaGrange met us with an ice pack and good advice. Despite the drama of the problem, we had a wonderful lunch and enjoyed the company of this delightful family. After returning home, a second bleed occurred and lasted 70 minutes. About 30 minutes into the event, Gladys took me to the Tanner ER where it was stopped. We were kept company there by another wonderful fried, Susan Sapp. Thankfully, there has been no additional recurrence, and I hope we will get to volunteer at the church this am. It should be a good day; and, after working at church, I have another project I hope to complete. I am optimistic it will be a good day and hopefully uneventful. As a follow- up, I am to to get an appointment at the local Eye, Nose, and Ear Clinic. I am beginning to see $ signs.
