Yesterday was like a reminder that life always comes a full - TopicsExpress

Yesterday was like a reminder that life always comes a full circle. Went to visit the graves of my late relatives at the Muslim cemetery with my family. It was peaceful. No other words could describe it. After which, we went to Masjid Al-Firdaus. My first madrasah since 1996. Here was where I spent my weekends learning more about Islam and spending time with my many friends. I miss every single one of them and we have not met since we graduated in 2006 but am still glad that at least, I know that all of them have fared well in life, alhamdulillah. Then we proceeded to visit Cikgu Hamidah, the religious teacher who taught me to read Al-Quran. Alhamdulillah, thank you Cikgu for everything. May Allah s.w.t. reward you for all your efforts and your patience with me and my siblings. Heee... My whole childhood revolves around you. You saw me since I was a child of 5 yrs old, all the way until now. The memories I had with you were many and mostly sweet. I can always recall all the laughters I shared with you and my friends. I pray that Allah s.w.t. grants you health and patience in teaching the next generation of the ummah, ameen. Next, was the Eid visiting with fiances family on the paternal side. This was the highlight of the day! I loved the cheerful and enthusiastic atmosphere; being able to mingle and getting to know fiances EXTENDED family (and the one pictured is still missing some families. :P) My day ended at 1+ am. Final verdict? One of the bestest days of Syawal in my life!
