Yesterday was my 3 year cancer free birthday! 3 years. Your going to think I am nuts and do not wish cancer on anyone, but because it brought me to my knees it also brought me closer to Him. And for that a part of me will always be thankful to cancer. I had to learn to let go and let God. I got over myself and try my hardest to live for Him, serve Him. Materialistic things never meant much to me but they mean even less now. Forgiving is a must and easier to do. I try to let people know how much they mean to me. Cancer softened my heart and personality. In a sense it has been a gift. BUT I pray it never comes back!
