Yesterday was my day to post about pets but I have one more pet to show you. Many of you have seen these photos but I have many new facebook friends who have not seen these. This is our horse , Frankie. He lives near our home at a ranch called "Los Compadres". In the summer months I go to the ranch to take care of him early in the morning to avoid the heat. He knows what time I will be there and he watches for me. Every other day he receives his supplements. (Bran, grain, vitamins and electrolytes). I always take time to hug him and love him. He is very affectionate and when I hug him he likes to put his head up against my head. His chin is so soft and I like to rub his chin. The flies are very bad here in the summer and he needs a mask. We tried a traditional mask that covers his face and he hated that so Anthony found a great mask made from leather strands (or fringe) that hangs over his face. He can see through the strands and when he shakes his head the flies disappear. I call it his "Cher Mask" because it looks like something that Cher would wear. We bought him years ago for one dollar. He was scheduled to be put down the next day so we bought him and saved his life. He is a big part of our life and we love him a lot. He has ice blue eyes and all the other horse owners at the ranch say that he is the most beautiful horse they have ever seen. Come to Palm Springs and I will take you to see him.
