Yesterday was one of the greatest days on the conservation - TopicsExpress

Yesterday was one of the greatest days on the conservation calendar. With over 2,000 people participating. WildlifeDirect was part of huge organizing team including 200 volunteers, 20 partners, friends and colleagues. WE set out to make the Global March for Elephants and RHINOS a defining demonstrating of solidarity in the war against poaching in Kenya. More than 2,000 people, some from USA, Sweden, Zambia, Tanzania, Germany, Canada, Norway, UK and other far off rural places,...Nakuru, Pokot Mombasa. Marched and sang, chanted, and laughed for 10 KM. Words defy me, it was humbling and moving that so many people came out. I saw prams and crutches, children and grannies, it was phenomenal. We has excellent support from the police, National Museums of Kenya, SUSO, Youth for Nature, Wildlife Clubs of Kenya, I think it is fair to say Nairobi March was a huge success.
