Yesterday was one of the most amazing days of my life. I cannot - TopicsExpress

Yesterday was one of the most amazing days of my life. I cannot begin to explain what an honor it was to meet the folks that run Shasta Sanctuary. The gratitude and love we received from them was overwhelming. All of your donations were received with teary eyes and open arms. Gabby and her beautiful family are some of the strongest, sweetest people Ive ever met. They have suffered a loss none of us can begin to comprehend, but their family bond is like nothing Ive ever seen. They have not had the time to get on Facebook and respond to very many questions, understandably so. Gabby was very concerned with how to say thank you to everyone who donated. I told her she didnt have to. That she shouldnt worry about all of that right now, to just take care of her family. With that being said, Ill never forget the look of gratitude on their faces. It spoke words more beautiful than any speech on Facebook ever could. And I wont ever forget it. At this time what they need more than anything is monetary support to buy the little things we all forget about. You can find a link to their PayPal on their page. The people of Weed are doing ok on clothing, they mostly need things like paper towels, paper plates, non-perishable food items, KIDS TOYS, detergent, plastic cutlery, bottled water, and mostly monetary donations. Dog food and cat food is still needed in the community. The drive was easy. Jump in your car with a friend and head up there. Make a road trip out of it and go help these folks. You wont ever forget them. We will be posting links and pages to join that will explain how you can help. We love you all. Your kindness and generosity wont ever be forgotten.
