Yesterday was one of those where I messed up most everything I did. Went to pick up bread for food bank distribution. We are trying something new this month; getting the bread on the bakerys trays. In order to do that I needed to leave a deposit check for them to hold. Pull up to the bakery and realize the check is still at home. So after a bit of discussion, I end up leaving one of my credit cards as the deposit. Oh I forgot to mention, when I tried to start my truck to go get the trailer I use from Baptist Chapel, the battery was very dead. So truck finally started, got the trailer, got the bread. Now back at the food bank to unload. Pulled the first stack of bread trays out, lifted them, and tried to set them on the ground. My wedding ring hung somehow on a crate and I actually thought I had amputated my finger. Fortunately it just hurt a bunch but was ok. Got unloaded, decided to leave the trailer parked in front of the food bank so the folks who pack the bread could put the empty trays back on. About 10pm I get a call from my friend Willard asking if the church trailer was in Salemburg. Seems a policeman saw it, ran the tags and called expressing concern that the trailer might not be there this morning if left. So I put on my shoes, went and got the trailer. Im not sure if theres a moral to this story or not. But Im going to make it through today with less incidents! :)
