Yesterday was our 3rd Linear Appraisal session. It was an exhausting but very productive day.. *B Dills XM Lonestar *S (4-yr old buck) - VEE 90 Shere Country SH Allium (3rd freshener) - EEEV 90 (she even earned the rare E in rump) Heidis Mini Acres Olga (newly fresh 3rd freshener) - VEEV 88 Shere Country SH Aria (3rd freshener) - VEEV 88 Cedarhurst A Patchee (2nd freshener) - VEEV 88 (also an E in rump) Old Mountain Farm Parti Time (2nd freshener) - VEEV 88 *B Wren Farm AB Jose (2 yr-old buck) - VEE 88 Shere Country LS All That Jazz (yearling FF) - VEV+ 86 (appraiser really liked this doe - can hardly wait to see what she does next year) Avian Acres LWS Louise (newly fresh 2nd freshener) - +EVV 86 Heidis Mini Acres Bonibell (2nd freshener) - +VVV 84 Heidis Mini Acres Reid (4-yr old buck) - +EV 84 Zanzabeez ZSR Snap To It (2-yr old buck) - +EV 84 Proctor Hill Farm BO Zumba (yearling buck) +VV 83 Alethia JD I Dew (newly fresh yearling FF) - +VVA 80 DesertNanny BR Shenandoah (< 2-yr old buck) +AA 78 Dills RD Conundrum (dry yearling) - VEcEc V Shere Country MP Windswept (dry yearling) - VEcV V Babel Brook Acres Jana Marie (dry yearling) - VV+ V Shere Country MP Pebbles (dry yearling) - ++V + Unfortunately, Sugar Moon Zenaida and Heidis Mini Acres Cadbury seem to have absorbed their tattoos :( Both were looking really great and will be done next year. Many of the does were getting stale and several were almost too fresh. I was hand-milking and dried off many does in anticipation of lots of August kids. Unfortunately, the majority of my spring bred does didnt settle. I will be doing Linear Appraisal again next year in hopes of getting the remainder of the does appraised. Now, the hard part begins .... completing my breeding schedule for 2015 spring kids!
