Yesterday was stressful had to get Archie to CSU at Wagga due to his continuing bouts of colic like behaviour. Of course I am here alone and long story short after my two eye ops (same eye) and numerous laser treatments on the other eye my vision has changed dramatically and is still changing and I dont feel safe driving as yet until I can get proper glasses to help me see, which hopefully will be in the near future. So a very dear friend came to my rescue yesterday and drove us down to Wagga, in fact she helped so much with Archie, she was a godsend. So a huge thanks Emily sure couldnt have done it without you and your support has been amazing. This morning the vets decided surgery was the best option as he was still not improving. Very sadly he didnt make it off the table, he had a grapefruit sized enterolith but it was in a part of the bowel they couldnt remove from the body and try as hard as they did they couldnt get it out, so he trotted off to the rainbow bridge. To be honest I dont understand why our fur kids are being taken away from us so constantly but Archie will be missed around here, he was a character and a sweet soul, sometimes a typical 2yo colt but we had bonded and I loved him dearly.
