Yesterday was such a powerful, inspirational day. I worked on the set of VOW, written and directed by Derrick Justin Johnson. It was my 15th shooting day and it was another long, exhausting day. I didnt get to bed till 3am this morning and my throat was so soar- from all of the dialogue delivered. We completed 5 scenes (7 pages each for some of the scenes). However, as always, I am NOT complaining. I know I am blessed to be given this platform to bring my character, Detective Rory Irving to life. Me and my acting buddy, Diana Santiago Rice just received the ultimate compliment from our director in a private message (of which he DID give me permission to share). He called me the White Morgan Freeman and Diana the Caramel Meryl Streep! That my friends is the ULTIMATE compliment- to be compared to these legends!!!
