Yesterday was the 3rd anniversary of Daphne being diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis..and about this time every year Derrick Landry and I kind of talk about what another year has meant to us and to our family. This whole journey has been a roller coaster ride with lots of ups and lots of downs but with the grace of God, the love and support from both sides of our family and our friends, our family has made it through to this new transition period our family is in. Few things we have learned along the way are the fact that tomorrow is not given and no one knows the future or can control it, so hold your loved ones close, tell them you love them and live every day to the fullest. Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible! Also when life throws you a curve ball or there is a fork in the road, you can plan but learn to let go a little and ask for help. Sometimes people would ask to help us and I dont always know what to ask for help with, but just that feeling you arent alone and that someone is praying for your family helps so much because you know that love and postivity is around your family. Lastly sometimes it can seem impossible to find a positive in overwhelming situations but what gets us through is to know that there is always light at the end of the tunnel and our baby girls smiles and laughter can turn any bad day around. Just keep swimming!! We love you all!
