Yesterday was the estate auction. Walking in and seeing the contents of the house we grew up in and all of the memories was so hard! Such an odd feeling knowing that everything you knew and held dear would soon be gone forever. So..... we all got a number and started buying back the pieces that we each couldnt part with. Needless to say..... the 5 Melton children, spouses, children, etc purchased back a good portion of the Melton Estate!!! We all laughed and cried and hugged each other when things became to hard. Although I can no longer touch some of the material things that inhabit my memories I will never forget them. Thank you Mom and Dad for giving us so many wonderful memories and stories to share. Thank you God for blessing me with the best family EVER!!
