Yesterday was too painful for me to have said a word about my Comrade, my Friend, my Brother. His painful passing took away from everything! 12.58am I awoke, unable to sleep knowing that he was hospitalized in Nigeria. I thought how would they treat him in a place with no case of Ebola? Why him? Why did he underestimate this virus? Why why why?. Only to wake up and hear the worst news so far. Its like yesterday in my mind... when on the 8th of July he said to me Meme Im just being strong but I watched my sister died today! Ive been comforting my mom all day. I sympathized and tried distract him with how funny Brazil defeat to Germany was. He later called to say Meme 2014 is Major SG and we must get some seats. He was so concern about Grand Bassa. He wanted to see the lives of others changed. He was a patriot of high calling. PO was just too kind of person. Im on my way for Party Conventions and he is calling to fuel my car and checking on my victory. PA Ribs was his spot for politics. He would call and say Sis lets meet at PA rib House and discuss politics and the future of our Country on Sunday Morning before you go to Church. He never failed to ask for my daughters whenever he saw me. He even wanted to buy doughnuts at PA for them. He was just too genuine. Brother Patrick Sawyer aka PO, I wish I could turn back the hands of time. I wish it was a bad dream. My heart hurts, my soul is troubled, Im sick! My heart goes to your mother and family. You lived a good and memorable life. Your affable character and kindness to people will never be forgotten. We regret this Brother. Please rest ion Peace. We will do our part to ensure what you wanted for Liberia is realized. Farewell my Brother PO.
