Yesterday we celebrated the ceremonial groundbreaking of the major enhancements to the Kreitzberg Library, the first construction project in the Forging the Future campaign. At the event Pres. Schneider presented CAO David Magida with a Bicentennial coin which will be embedded in the library’s woodwork. The $6.5 million library renovation features new workstations, group-study and collaborative-learning areas, and significant technology upgrades, including a 10-fold increase in data speeds and capacity, and a digital media commons, all to engage active learning. Students will be able to gather to study, exchange ideas, and socialize in a state-of-the-art learning environment.
