Yesterday we had a Christmas Party at our place ..probably every nationality and religion was represented and all of the younger generation....we had Muslims, Christians, Atheists, Buddhists,Hindus the lot and they where wearing Santa Claus Hats .. great hilarity and friendship and from the noise emitting for the living areas, a great time was had by all and all loved the Greek Souvla ..why, oh why cant the world be like that and we all be nice to each other and we learn to live with one and other .....I lived in Belfast at the height of the troubles as a child..I remember the guns and the bombs as if it was yesterday because those memories you carry though life and you cannot forget ..Lets all try today to spread love and kindnesses especially to people on the other side of our belief spectrum..to the Politicians ..find out who is radicalizing these young people ..Ban the sites on the internet NOW..the IRA and the UDF did exactly the same thing in the 70s recruited naive and young people to the fold (16, 17 year olds) and there was no internet then thank God .. to the youngsters who want to go and join their brothers in arms in arms in Syria ...it is not and never has been about Religion, God or Allah ..it is about Politics, Power and money and they just wrap it up in a spectrum they can recruit followers and that is you... if you die, well bad luck plenty more where you came from ..they do not care about you and they will not weep at your funeral ..it is criminal what is happening but why are these kids so disassociated ..we need to act and act now but not in a spirit of hostility to one and other ..I pray the siege ends well for all .. bloodshed never mended anything .. it just creates more of the same just my thoughts
