Yesterday, we lost our baby boy Moose, he was only 14 months old. He was the biggest, sweetest, and most gentle giant. He was the sweetest thing Ive ever met, he loved everything and everyone, every time we brought a pup into the house he became their chew toy and he loved every second of it. He never even had a grumpy moment in the short year we had him, he never growled at the other dogs or got sick of them. He would mumble and grumble when one of his sisters came near him while he was eating, but he would just step back, sit down and let her eat his food. He was legitimately perfect in every way, except the underlying heart defect. I came home yesterday after being gone for about an hour and a half, I went in his room to let him out of his crate to only hear a strange cry coming from his crate. When I opened it he was laying in his own urine and he couldnt move, he could only cry. When I reached in there to get him he gave me one of his little kisses with that big fat tongue and was having trouble breathing, I pulled him out of his crate but he passed shortly there after. It was the shortest but most blessed year we couldve had, we just wish he couldve lived longer and enjoyed everything even longer.
