Yesterday, we received a refund from our homeowners tax in the mail. Anyway, it has something to do with us being 65 or older. Anyway, Doug took it to the bank to deposit it, and the teller was so angry at the government for this shut down. He suggested that a bunch of people should descend on Washington D.C. with a group of bulldozers, scoop up all the members of the legislature and the senate, haul them all away to the Grand Canyon, dump them in and set out to find new members before the old ones can crawl out of the Canyon. Not a bad idea.
