Yesterday we received a tip from someone on our Facebook page’s inbox. They described seeing an individual which may fit Bob’s description in the Park Hill Plaza area in Upper Cleghorn, Fitchburg, Mass. The person in question was seen in front of JD Package Store and then proceeded to travel along Electric Ave. to Exeter Street in Fitchburg. The person who reported this incident to us was curious and began to follow the individual down the street and apparently the individual may have suspected someone following and disappeared into either a home or a wooded area. The person did call the FPD and a unit was sent to the location. The officer took what information the driver had and searched through the area not finding anything. The person who spotted this individual walking also called the LPD and left a message for the investigating officer. We know the individual had long hair and long beard like Bob’s picture at the ATM machine the day of his disappearance and that this certain individual was wearing a baseball style ball cap, dark colored pants, a dark colored shirt. Please if you live in or around this area of Fitchburg and see an individual that resembles this decription, please call the FPD immediately and try to attempt to keep a visual on where the person may be going. We also spent sometime in the area looking today! It’s this type of reporting that gives us hope! Thanks again for your help!
