Yesterday we took a charter plane to DC with 56 veterans and their guardians. It was such an honor to serve them and thank them. Every time I go on a trip I think these people are AMAZING and its such an honor to be in their presence! Every trip I think this was my favorite group then the next trip I say the SAME thing! Honor Flight truly is a great organization to volunteer for. We work so hard on the court and off the court! Meaning we work our tails off to raise funds to pay tribute to our veterans to get these flights to take off. Then our day at DC is an all hands on deck kind of day you work your tail off making sure we give them hopefully one of the best days of their lives! But, at the end of the day I may feel exhausted but feel truly blessed to have shared that day with such amazing people. Please check out our Facebook page and our upcoming events.
