Yesterday we witnessed the signing of a cooperation document between the National Land Commission and the Ministry of Lands. I congratulate Prof Swazuri and CS Ngilu for deciding to end their acrimony and work together for Kenyans. This will result in better service delivery on land matters and I applaud them for their magnanimity because the final beneficiaries are the people of Kenya. Our Jubilee Government gave a promise to give an answer to the land question and my county Baringo has many pending land issues which I now hope shall be prioritized and fasttracked for the benefit of communities, individuals and even institutions. I urge my people of Baringo to take advantage of this new found unity to ensure that they resolve all pending land issues that they may have. I have also called on the National Land Commission to fully operationalize its presence at the county and work together with the Ministry of Lands in addressing historical land injustices and bring them to closure.
