Yesterday while Teo and I were getting our lunch on we both noticed an elderly lady that had to walk with the use of a cane. Teo and I looked at each other and it was as if we read each others mind to open the door. The elderly lady slowly made her way through the exit and Teo asked her, what is that(in reference to the cane). She replied, this helps me walk as I walk really slow now with a giggle. Teo then grabbed her coffee and said,this smells really good. I grabbed her purse and then she made her way back into her vehicle to drive off but first placed her cup of coffee where it needed to be( got to have your priorities right hehe). She told Teo, Thank you, you kind and handsome young man. Teo replied, your welcome have a nice day. The moral of the story is if you cant take the time to truly help someone who clearly needs some assistance then you are doing something wrong with your life IMHO. You are never too busy to help those that need it, never too busy to listen to those that need to express themselves. These small things truly make the difference in others lives whether you believe it or not is up to you. I just know now that seeing that elderly lady walking by us that probably took about 5 minutes I could feel a change in how I see things, how I perceive things. It took my son showing me that in order to truly enjoy life one must help others when and where you can ... to a great weekend peeps ...
