Yesterday while at the Canningvale markets I witnessed an elderly man at a jewelery stall where a young girl about 7 or 8 was taking an interest in a ring. The man selling it said to her that if she liked the ring she could have it at no cost. He repeated this a number of times then he said that he was giving it to her because he loved her and kissed her on the forehead. The girl walked away with the ring. I watched this man to see what he would get up to once the young girl left. He stayed at his stall. Be careful parents when at any markets. It may of been an innocent gesture and it may not of been. The man was aware that I was watching him at the time.
