Yesterday, while my son and I were in the check-out line buying - TopicsExpress

Yesterday, while my son and I were in the check-out line buying school supplies an older lady and I struck up a conversation after she questioned me about all the supplies we were buying. She proceeded to tell me about her very shy neighbor girl who is home schooled. I was a little bit dumbfounded as she relayed more information than I wanted to hear in the most negative way - to me a complete stranger, about this 14 year old. The facts didnt matter...though she was smart and her family kind...the only thing that mattered was this ladys apparent disdain for shy people (or at least home schooled shy people). That one thing clouded all the other facts and quite possibly the only negative she was able to find. Ive been pondering that conversation and my remark to her at the end.....Speak Life. Theres a song for that, of course, but theres a song for cynicism too. With these two songs and scriptures like Death and life are in the power of the tongue I gauge my own deceitful heart and pray for myself and this lady in the Walmart gossip line yesterday.... https://youtube/watch?v=BSVPUuYRKkg
