Yesterdays Modern Masters draft was excellent. I went 3-0, same record as the last Modern Masters draft. For any that are curious, heres the deck that I managed to build. U/R Kiki-Mite (basically the draft version of Exarch Twin) 8 Island 8 Mountain 3 Pestermite 1 Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker 1 Mogg War-Marshal 1 Spellstutter Sprite 1 Etherium Sculptor 1 Murderous Redcap 1 AEthersnipe 2 Reach Through Mists 1 Desperate Ritual 1 Manamorphose 2 Perilous Research 1 Thirst for Knowledge 1 Echoing Truth 1 Shrapnel Blast 1 Glacial Ray 1 Rift Bolt 2 Pyrite Spellbomb 1 AEther Spellbomb 1 Paradise Mantle All in all, it was a very awesome draft. Sad to see that it is the last Modern Masters draft that will be happening for a long time. Both times Ive drafted this set, Ive gone 3-0. The first time, however, all games were won in three. This time, my first game was won in two (both times I comboed with Kiki and Pestermite), and the last two matches were in three. A small step up in terms of how I played, which Im a little happy about. tl;dr - If you ever get the chance to draft Modern Masters, DO IT. Its worth the $45+ that youll be paying.
