Yesterdays Mooresville Town Council vote is exactly why it is so important for EVERYONE to vote in EVERY election. When you dont vote, you are leaving the good of the people in the hands of those who do not always have the best interest of others in mind. In the last Presidential election, because many Republicans didnt like Mitt Romney, they refused to vote at all, and left us with the disaster that is the Obama Administration. On a much smaller scale, peoples unwillingness to vote at all because they may not have their favorite candidate on the ballot have left Mooresville in the hands of some who simply do not have the best interests of the citizens of Mooresville in mind. You HAVE to vote, sometimes even if you are only voting for a platform, rather than a specific candidate.
