Yesterdays sales were enough to settle my nerves. I have now hit the break even mark, so from this point on it is profit. I really really need to have at least an average Pennsic. I hate to keep harping on how bad Gulf Wars sales were, but they were very low and it set me back on my finances in terms of where I wanted to be after Pennsic. If Gulf Wars had been normal I would have been able to pay off two major debts by the end of Pennsic. To be able to do that now I would have to have my best Pennsic sales ever. It can happen but I wont be stressing over that. Just normal Pennsic sales will let me pay off one debt completely and maybe make a good dent in another. I just need to get some breathing space in my monthly budget. Things havent worked out the way I hoped with help at the tables so that I can make it to my classes at school. I am still studying and doing the class work, but I am missing the instruction and lecturing notes. I did get some time off yesterday to at least get out and see the other merchants, get some food, and visit with some friends. I should also have someone to cover today for a coupe of hours. I did grab a chunk of that 2.5 inch rattan, that was shaved down to 1.5 inches in width and I carved out one of those glaives. It looks great and I will post pics later.
