Yesterdays session was going to be another resistance session, this time for an all-over-body hit. We warmed up with a few walking laps of the cricket oval then 4 minutes of step-ups on the fitness park benches. Moving through legs, chest and back, we hit the copper logs and grass for a set of push-up 21s, then to the bars for five chin-up negative moves. Back to the benches for three sets of pistol squats, the copper logs for more push-up 21s, bars for five pull-up negatives, the grass for three sets of twenty crossover crunches, the logs for push-up 21s (with the option of incline on the higher logs, incline on low logs, flat on grass, decline on low logs or decline on high logs), then to the bars for more pull-up negatives, side to side holds and straight hangers for grip. We hit our abs with a minute of bicycle crunches and a minute of crossover crunches before stretching. I know all of you were feeling it in the arms by the end of the session, but I reckon you will notice an improvement in upper body strength over the next few weeks. Well done!
