Yesterdays trip went well, thank you to the new adopters, Brittany for Snow White and John for Belladona and Twiggy, and to Krystle to fostering Isobel and Esperanza for the summer until Isobel is weaned. Snow White was amazing! I thought wed have so much trouble getting her sorted and onto the trailer as she hasnt been handled since last summer and the herd is running loose on a quarter section. I had imagined chasing horses through the forest for an hour or two, but the horses all came in as soon as they heard us and Snow White was the first one to the gate so I just let her out, Mike had already backed the trailer up close to the gate, I put the bucket of grain into the trailer and we gave her a bit of nudge from behind and on she went. It took about 2 minutes. The traffic on the drive back was horrendous, it was a long day but all in all it was a good day.
