Yet Another Security Breach Allows Intruder Into White House ============= He jumped a fence. Then he made it across the grounds to the White House building. After gaining entry into the White House itself, only then was he overtaken by the Secret Service and arrested. That was just yesterday and only the latest in an extra-ordinary number of security breaches and near breaches involving the President and the First Family. Ive had a number of intense conversations with you and know many of you share my observation that security for this Presidential Family has, at times, appeared to lack the preparation, resolve and the commitment that was taken for granted by past Presidential Families, with few exceptions. You will remember pictures of armed onlookers at Presidential stops in Arizona or New Mexico. Nowhere in previous Presidential travels have I ever recalled seeing armed onlookers, by-standers or attendees to a Presidential event being allowed close to a sitting President!! No doubt more potential breaches of security have been foiled than have been, as yesterdays breach at the White House was, successful. But all it takes is one success, right, -- and yesterday, the First Family had departed the premises, allegedly, just minutes before the intruder entered the building. You know all too well, our cities and this country is already choked by gun violence. And as the people and law enforcement in Pennsylvania know all too well, there is a very real and credible threat from all manner of trained, self-styled groups and their lone wolf splinters. Throw in the call for world-wide attacks on any nation fighting against some Syrian groups and one cannot but wonder if someone is playing fast and loose with the security of our President and the First Family.
