Yet another awesome UPDATE from my friend Joan regarding her daughter Grace. Thank you all for continuing to pray! Latest update on Grace-Today has been a good day. They came about 1:30p and took out the brain bolt. They are no longer worried about the pressure on her brain. At 2p they took her down for an MRI to make sure there is no other neck damage to worry about. If all scans are clear, they will remove the neck collar today. For the rest of the day, they will let her rest. Then tomorrow morning, they will take her off the breathing machine and bring her out of sedation. She has had a few occurrences of alertness (even under heavy sedation) and has been able to respond to commands, using both hands to squeeze ours. We want to thank everyone for all the prayers and good wishes. All the FB messages, texts and e-mails, we are reading them all. The outpouring of love and support from both our local community and from far away have overwhelmed us and we are so grateful to everyone. We do believe that all the prayers have helped Grace, that it is all in Gods hands and that He is working miracles!
