Yet, another day with some more of those pesky scattered showers and thunderstorms. A few of these will produce some strong and gusty winds. A few could briefly become severe. Even areas that are not seeing storms currently, may briefly develop some over the next few hours. Most of the rain and storms moving ESE at about 20 mph. Otherwise, it is a pretty hot day out there with temperatures in dry areas surpassing 90 degrees and the heat index above 100 in some areas. Expect more of the same for our Monday, just a little bit better chance for some rain and thunderstorms as a cold front approaches our area.
