Yet another dog attack on Max. In park throwing ball on rope when I noticed a mixed breed coming over so I waited for it to pass before throwing ball again. Stoid waiting and max was fixed on me and a border collie came flyibg in bowled max over completely off his feet (which could of injured him right there) it then pounced on him and tried taking lumps out of him. I stepped in to seperate it was still coming at it him so with my fingers prodded it in its side it broke away then. All the while the owner with 2 friends (one of which owned the mixed breed) did nothing, even kept it off lead? I got nothing off her so exploded at her. I told her to put it on a lead immediately. She give a shitty look and kept walking so I went towards her and told her to stop. She did and immediately said do not shout at me nobody shouts at me I told her tough shit I am cos she did nothing about the attack. I again told her dog on lead NOW! She did and then a kind lady with grandchild in pram stepped in and said I saw it all he has every right to shout and ball at you, you did nothing at all and havent even apologised youre a disgrace I told her im shouting cos youre not interested you did nothing at all you havent apologised or asked how my dog is, I said its too often in here people with aggressive dogs off lead and im sick of it! She said I dont appreciate you shouting at me? Oh poor you! She said I shouted my dog? I said yeah you did once and then didnt bother, I said when a dog is in that zone it wont listen hence why it kept going. I said as soon as I stepped in to seperate them you should have been there to secure youre dog and you didnt do it. I shouted at you because you showed no desire at all to stop it. Im getting increasingly concerned with the amount of dogs off lead like that. I could now have battle on my hands to prevent max showing aggression to other dogs as a result. Hes going to start fearing dogs. She didnt want to stop till I told her take one more step and ill phone police! I thanked the woman who witnessed the incident as she came to my defence to support me. Had she cone and secured her dog and apologised id not have shouted at her! She didnt grasp the severity and said it dont usually do that? I said it dont matter its done it now! Her friends were mostly quiet until one said these guys are a funny pack theh get like this oh really well dont take them out together then! I managed to get some passion and emotion out of her took 10 minutes though. She eventually said im sorry. Should not go for a walk and have that happen!
