Yet another ignorant bus driver on the bus today...they seem to forget that they are driving a public service vechile and as such should use extra due care n attention... amongst these things they need to do while driving public transport is : not speed, such as hitting 70 in 40 zones, not go so fast as to pull to a stop 100 metres past the stop, go so fast that the passengers reenact the dashboard scene from planes train n automobiles.... Another requirement is that when a passenger rings the bell then that is the alert for the driver to pull in at the next stop...not ignore it completely due to either being deaf, having headphones in listening to the footy, being stoned or just being plain dumb...even worse when you go past the damn stop and the passengers start frantically pressing the bell n shouting to you to stop and the driver being a total dick, douche n knob-head ignores everyone and carries on driving... Another thing they shouldnt do is sit there and argue with passengers saying they never pressed the bell n he never heard it especially when a bus load of passengers had pressed it. Seriously the standard of service on firstbus Leeds gets worse by the day....last week I was on the bus and not only did he go at around 70 in a 40 zone but he over shot the stop and had no intention of slowing down. A few weeks ago I was on one leaving town and the bus behind was in so much of a rush to pull out n get ahead of the one I was on it hit the back of my bus n took all the right side of the bus out along with the windows thus hitting everyone at the back with flying glass.... I am expecting to hear quite soon about a bus driver either killing themselves n everyone on the bus or causing the death of somebody due to their antics. (You may think this is some kind of rant but seriously if you live in Leeds then you know what I am saying above is the truth and not some mad rant) Just sayin...
