Yet another year nearly over and YES our page is still here ..shows our campaign to Keep The Royal is not yet over :-) been a year of comings and goings, good and bad, old and new, celebrations and rememberance... And they say nothing ever happens in Silverdale?! The centenary of WW1 has been high on the agenda, we have had talks, plays, lights out and even the younger generations of the community have joined in making beautiful poppies for the war memorial On November 11th.. they were happy to join in and remember... Shows even when we dont always agree we can agree on something .And that is we are making a good job of keeping, nurturing and hopefully in generations to come still managing to maintain some of the spirit of Silverdale.. A village I was born in, grew up in and love ( well most days) Nothing left to do now other than post this, wish you a peaceful christmas and all good things for 2015.. And if I dont see you on the street I will see you on here
